How can I upload a .CSV file to an existing list?
Already have a list and want to add more contacts from a spreadsheet? You can upload a CSV file straight into an existing SendFox list.
Add a CSV to an existing list
- From the top nav, open Audience → Lists.
- Open the list you want to add contacts to.
- Choose to add contacts and pick Import contacts from a CSV file.
- Select your
.csvfile, map the columns if prompted, and confirm. The contacts are added to that list.
New contacts are added and existing ones (matched by email) are updated — SendFox keeps one contact per email address, so you won’t get duplicates.

Troubleshooting
Contacts went to the wrong list
- Make sure you opened the correct list before importing. You can also manage list membership from the contact’s record.
My upload stopped partway
- Imports respect your plan’s contact limit. Check the file format and that emails are valid.

Will uploading again create duplicates?
No — contacts are matched by email, so re-uploading updates existing contacts instead of duplicating them.
