Is SendFox GDPR compliant?

Yes — SendFox is built to help you stay GDPR compliant, with consent checkboxes, double opt-in, and data handling on contact deletion.

How SendFox helps you stay compliant

  • Consent checkboxes — your Forms and Smart Pages can include a GDPR consent checkbox, with text you control, so subscribers explicitly agree before joining.
  • Double opt-in — you can require new contacts (from forms or the API) to confirm their subscription by clicking a link in a confirmation email before they receive campaigns.
  • Data on deletion — when you delete a contact, their personal data is handled in line with GDPR.

In the Form or Smart Page builder, enable Require GDPR Consent and edit the consent text to suit your audience. See formatting your form.

Require double opt-in

Open SettingsList defaults and turn on Require double opt-in. It applies to new contacts added through forms or the API. (Double opt-in is the default on every plan. Pro accounts can switch to single opt-in anytime, and Lifetime accounts can once they’ve validated a sending domain; the Free plan always requires it.) See contact types for how confirmed vs. unconfirmed contacts work.

Troubleshooting

The consent checkbox isn’t showing on my form
