If I add more subscribers later, what happens?
If you add more subscribers than your plan allows, here's what happens — and how to add more contacts or sending capacity with SendFox's Lifetime and Pro plans.
If you grow past your plan's limits
Your SendFox plan has a contact limit and a sending allowance. Here's what happens as your audience grows, and how to add more capacity when you need it.
Already a SendFox customer? The limits described here apply to new accounts. If you already have a plan (a lifetime deal or a monthly subscription), you keep it, including your current sending. The new limits only apply if you choose to switch.
Adding more contacts
The $29 Lifetime plan includes 5,000 contacts. If you need more, move to a monthly Pro plan (Pro 1 through Pro 5). On Pro, your contact limit is a floor, not a ceiling — if you already hold lifetime deals worth more contacts than your Pro tier, you keep your higher count.

Adding more sending
The $29 Lifetime plan includes a one-time pool of 300,000 emails that never refreshes. When that pool runs low or is used up, upgrade to a monthly Pro plan for a fresh monthly sending allowance. Your contacts and account stay intact — only sending pauses until you add capacity.
Where to check how much you've sent
You don't have to guess how close you are to your sending limit. SendFox surfaces it in two places:
- Emails page — from the top nav, open Emails. A usage meter appears once you reach about 80% of your sending limit. It shows the percentage used (either % of lifetime sends used for a capped Lifetime pool or % of sends used this month for a monthly plan), the used-vs-limit count, and — for monthly plans — the date your allowance resets.
- Plan & billing page — open Settings → Plan & billing to see your monthly send allowance and, for monthly plans, the reset date. Accounts without a monthly ceiling show no figure here.
Some older lifetime accounts show no send meter at all, because their one-time deal was not sold with a monthly ceiling. That does not mean sending is unlimited — see Why is my SendFox account paused or restricted?.
Existing AppSumo & lifetime customers
If you already hold a SendFox or AppSumo lifetime deal, you keep that deal, your contacts, and your contact limit. The contact limits on the new plans apply to new accounts only.
Sending is no longer unlimited on older lifetime deals. Once an older lifetime account has sent more than its one-time purchase covers, SendFox asks it to move to a monthly Pro plan to keep sending. You get an email and a 30-day notice period first, and accounts that send lightly are not affected at all. See Why is my SendFox account paused or restricted? for how this works and what the notices look like.
Troubleshooting
Will I be charged automatically if I go over my limit?
- No. SendFox no longer adds automatic per-contact overage charges. To add capacity, you choose and subscribe to a Pro tier yourself.
I've hit my limit — what do I do?
- From a paid Lifetime plan, open Settings → Plan & billing and choose a Pro tier that fits your audience. (On the Free plan, get the $29 Lifetime first, then upgrade to Pro.)
- Questions about your account? Reach the SendFox team at help.sendfox.com.
Frequently asked questions
Am I auto-charged $10 for every 1,000 contacts I add?
No. That older overage pricing is no longer used. To add contacts, upgrade to a monthly Pro plan.
How do I add more contacts or sending?
Upgrade to a monthly Pro plan (Pro 1 through Pro 5), which raises both your contact limit and your monthly sending allowance. Enterprise is available for larger needs.
How do I see how close I am to my sending limit?
Check the usage meter on the Emails page (it appears once you pass about 80% of your limit) or open Settings → Plan & billing to see your allowance and reset date.
