What integrations does SendFox have, and how do I connect them?

SendFox integrations include Zapier, Make, TidyCal, WordPress plugins and AI assistants. Connect TidyCal and Zapier under Settings → Connections → Integrations.

How do SendFox integrations work?

SendFox connects with other tools in three ways:

  • Native integrations you connect directly inside your SendFox account (for example TidyCal, Zapier, and the Mailchimp, Kit and Google contact imports).
  • The SendFox API and no-code automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, Integrately, and Pabbly Connect.
  • A wide range of third-party tools that have built their own SendFox connection.

Plan note: API access — and any integration that depends on it, including Zapier — is available on paid plans (Lifetime and Pro). The Free plan does not include API access: API requests made on a Free account are declined with an "API access requires a paid plan" message, and the Zapier card prompts you to upgrade. If you are on the Free plan and need integrations, upgrade to a paid plan to unlock the API.

Native integrations (built into SendFox)

You can connect these from your account without any third-party tool. Open the account menu in the top-right corner, choose Settings, then look under Connections.

Settings → Connections → Integrations

SendFox Settings Integrations page showing the TidyCal and Zapier connection cards

  • TidyCal — connect your TidyCal account to add TidyCal booking links to your emails — this works on any plan. Click Connect TidyCal to authorize the connection. If you instead connect SendFox inside TidyCal so your bookings are added to a SendFox list, that sync uses the SendFox API and needs a paid plan (Lifetime or Pro); on the Free plan TidyCal can’t fetch your lists.
  • Zapier — connect SendFox to thousands of apps with automated Zaps. On a paid plan, choose Browse Zapier integrations; on the Free plan this card shows Upgrade to unlock Zapier.

When you import contacts

  • Mailchimp — connect your Mailchimp account to import your existing lists and contacts into SendFox.
  • Kit — connect your Kit (formerly ConvertKit) account to import your subscribers, all of them or one tag — see how to switch from Kit (ConvertKit) to SendFox.
  • Google — connect Google to import your Google contacts.

Settings → Connections → Web presence

The Web presence page (Settings → Connections → Web presence) has two parts:

  • Content sources — your Blog or RSS feed, Podcast and YouTube channel. SendFox checks them for new posts and uses them to draft Smart Campaign emails and build your Smart Page.
  • Social profiles — your handles on X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and more. SendFox links to them as icons in your email footers; it never posts to these accounts. Instagram posts themselves aren’t shown on your Smart Page — see whether you can show Instagram posts on a Smart Page.

The SendFox API & automation platforms

The SendFox API powers most no-code automations. These platforms let you connect SendFox to other apps without writing code (all require a paid plan for API access):

Can I connect an AI assistant (MCP) to SendFox?

SendFox has an MCP server that connects your account directly to an AI assistant — Claude (web, desktop, or Claude Code), ChatGPT, or Codex. Once connected you can add and tag contacts, draft and send emails, build automations, and ask how a campaign performed, just by chatting.

Go to sendfox.com/developer/mcp, pick your assistant, and copy the connection URL — the same URL works for every client. In Claude, for example, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste it.

Full walkthrough for every client: how to connect an AI assistant to SendFox.

Plan requirement: the MCP server is available on Pro (existing Empire subscriptions included) and during a trial. It is not the same as API access — a Lifetime plan includes the REST API but not the AI assistant connection, and the Free plan includes neither.

WordPress & form integrations

SendFox works with WordPress and popular form builders. For the full WordPress walkthrough, see How can I integrate SendFox and WordPress?

More tools that connect with SendFox

Many other apps have built their own SendFox integration. If a tool you use isn't listed, we recommend reaching out to that app directly to ask about a SendFox integration.

You can also build connections through Pabbly Connect for popular apps, including these step-by-step video guides:

Troubleshooting

My integration says it needs API access or a paid plan

  • API access (and Zapier) is paid-only. On the Free plan, API requests are declined and the Zapier card shows Upgrade to unlock Zapier.
  • Upgrade to a paid plan (Lifetime or Pro) to unlock API access, then reconnect the integration.

There's no built-in integration for the app I use

  • Check whether the app connects through Zapier, Make, or Pabbly Connect — these reach thousands of apps.
  • If not, you (or the other app's team) can build a connection with the SendFox API.

A third-party tool won't connect

  • Most third-party tools are built and maintained by those companies. Confirm you're using a valid API token from a paid SendFox account, then contact that app's support.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Free plan include API access?

No. API access is available on paid plans (Lifetime and Pro). API requests on a Free account are declined with an "API access requires a paid plan" message. This also applies to Zapier, which connects through the API.

Can I use Zapier with SendFox?

Yes, on a paid plan. Open Settings → Connections → Integrations and choose Browse Zapier integrations, or see Does SendFox have a Zapier app, and how do I connect it?

TidyCal says it can’t fetch my SendFox lists — why?

TidyCal reads your SendFox lists through the SendFox API, which is available only on paid plans (Lifetime and Pro). On a Free SendFox account those requests are declined, so TidyCal shows a “couldn’t fetch your SendFox lists” error even though the connection itself succeeded — reconnecting won’t help. Upgrade to a paid plan to use the TidyCal–SendFox list sync. (Adding TidyCal booking links to your emails still works on any plan.)

How do I request a new integration?

We recommend reaching out to the app you'd like to connect with SendFox and asking them to build (or prioritize) a SendFox integration. Many integrations on this page were built by those app teams.
